Under armor speedfit review:
We recently test them and my initial thoughts were maximum comfort and no stretching needed.
After wearing and using a variety of hiking shoes and boots ranging from affordable quality hi-tec to asolo and la sportiva I know exactly what fits.
So pick up a pair of 9.5….the waterproof outer material call my attention (not the color, not into Camo gear)…they fitted like a glove.
The laces made a pretty good impression too.
In the trail my initial assessment didn’t change, they have a extreme platform of cushioning with a water repellent finish (not waterproof) and rubbery kick toe for scrambling.
Plenty ventilation so they dry fast which becomes optimal for water crossings, and enough ankle support for no hesitation.
They are a 3 season speed boot (no insulation)…and by picking a half size larger a pair of wool expedition socks will still fit with plenty comfort.
At $120 retail might sound steep but in comparison to salomon speed cross trail shoes…this one’s give you in my opinion better support and more options for your money.
